The daughter of graphic designers, Laura Gottwald grew up in a modernist house, resplendent with a curious mix of Eames & George Nelson furniture with antiques.
As a Rhode Island School of Design undergraduate, she co-founded Amperzand, an innovative, multi-disciplinary design firm with a diverse range of clients.
She opened lg& in 1987 to focus on interior design, furniture and product design for interiors.
Laura Gottwald & Associates was founded in 1987 to design smart, vibrant, highly personal interiors: residential, commercial and hospitality.
